On this page we like to present how our team Lumen solved these tasks. |

We as a team solved obscure mystery assignments like these together much more fluently than I ever dared to expect. At least I had the feeling the activity really got hot, for example at times when the team split for chasing after exta props for staging while the rest went on shooting. There was a few times an eerie feel of being connected with each other in a clear yet ever altering plan unfolding to us, while the rest of the world almost disappeared, and maybe the sense of time as well. But we managed to keep up with the schedule. |

Something of the ingredients.. First of all you were very good observing and selecting small interesting details in the ground that could be used in the context of the assignments; in the beginning it was hard but in the end ideas outnumbered the frames of film that could be used for capturing them. The very beginning in the cemetary was maybe little bit sticky until we started to play with the little fellow in the gaping holes of the huge iron cross. It seemed as if to free some major block in the use imagination. Suddenly after that point every last one of us were drawn into the process, sharing ideas and helping out. It also made a big difference that the result that was expected could be seen throuh the viewfinder and all of us could take turns looking through through the camera. We could get the inside view of what exactly we were working on. |

One more good thing we did was to follow first someone's intuition to the end, then when that was done somebody else's idea could be staged. This gave more time for the next ideas to get articulated. And there was no reason to turn anyone down. The suppression of critisism at early stages of the process worked better towards the end. Also the puzzle of the unkown connected theme seemed to work very well as inviting every one to find clues and canditates of what the whole of the 6 assignments were about. |

Leadership.. In the beginning Harri had the role inviting the team together and trying to remember what things there are to do and what preparations should be taken care of. Since arriving to the place of the event the focus in pulling of the strings shifted. The leadership in this group was much after the guy, that was operating the camera, Sami, taking turns with Kati and here and there Jenna pulling the team into some direction. It occured quite naturally. I was trying to adopt the role of herding the group and saying yes to every impulse amplifying and joining as much as I dared to. |

Kati, Aleksi, Jenna: you were good at bringing up the playful mood that helping us out. To me it seemed like Jenna made good job trying to keep joining everybody that was in the hazard of drifting outside of the group either left behind or participating. Aleksi: Bringin along those two special flashlights was a brilliant idea. Even if we did not make use the laser pointer beam in the photos it might just be the impulse after which the little men started climbing it was |

Jenna: Thanks so much of the sandwiches and the drinks! The sandwiches especially were great! If there was slight overkill in the food supply it was only because I did not check if there would be warm food served in the event as well.. (Harri: If I'm up to moonlight happenin next year I might not to choose prepare any hot choclate, at least not in that strange bottle! ) |
